Job summary

Dematic in Fairburn, Georgia is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to perform day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on Storage Retrieval Machines, Automated Guided Vehicles, and related material handling equipment. The role includes building work orders, using electrical test equipment, and supporting parts inventory.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2-3 years of electro-mechanical experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and adapt to multiple

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree or vocational training is advantageous.
• 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Google G-Suite.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Build and close work orders into the asset management system with detailed data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
