Job summary

RTX, including Collins Aerospace, is seeking engineers to assist in producing and releasing detailed engineering documentation. You will create, revise and release drawings and model-based definitions, ensuring compliance with MIL-PRF-13830, ISO 10110 and ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.

Mentoring of junior designers is included in the role. The role requires an AA/AS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with Windchill PDMLink, and CAD tools such as Creo, NX, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance.
• AA/AS degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink.
• ASME Y14.5-2009 Geometric Tolerancing principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creation, revision and release of product documentation artifacts.
• Drawings, Model Based CAD definitions, and tolerancing per standards.
• Support training and mentoring of design technicians/engineers.
• Provide design and documentation release support with minimal guidance.
• Validate change definitions and revision capture in design data.
