Job summary

TAS Pro (The Aerial Studio) is seeking a Master Electrician for a temp Live Event Staging, Crewing, & Production project in Torrance, CA. You will own electrical planning, installation, operation, and strike for a large outdoor pathway, with generator power distribution, IP66 equipment, and on-site safety compliance.

Responsibilities include power plan development, equipment management, installation oversight, site coordination, logistics, on-call support during show run, and safe load-out.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with large‑scale outdoor electrical installations and temporary event power systems.
• Proven ability to create and implement comprehensive power plans.
• Strong knowledge of generator power distribution and electrical safety practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with large scale outdoor lighting events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Power Plan Development: Create a comprehensive power plan for the entire Lightscape pathway, including generator placement, electrical distribution equipment, and cabling routes.
• Equipment Management: Determine and specify all necessary electrical equipment, including generators, distribution panels, cabling, and safety devices.
• Installation Oversight: Determine crew needs and organize the installation of all electrical equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
• Site Coordination: Attend site walkthroughs as required to familiarize yourself with the garden layout and specific installation locations.
• Logistics and Planning: Outline and manage the labor plan for the electrical installation and strike.
• Operational Support: Be available for on‑call consultation during the show run to address any electrical issues.
• Strike and Load Out: Organize and oversee the efficient and safe load‑out of all electrical systems from January 4th – January 7th, 2027.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
