Job summary

ASM Global in Tysons, VA is seeking an experienced lighting technician to program and operate ETC EOS and Hog4 consoles for live shows. You will supervise touring electricians, hang and focus lighting rigs, and patch to the house sACN network.

The role requires hands-on experience with large-scale rigs (approx. 50 moving heads, 100+ fixtures) and a strong background in theater lighting. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Lighting Design preferred.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on venue experience.
• Advanced knowledge of theater lighting practices and principles.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate ETC EOS Ti, EOS Ion, and Hog4-18 consoles for shows.
• Supervise touring electricians.
• Hang, focus and program lighting equipment per events.
• Inspect and evaluate lighting equipment for effectiveness and usage.
• Advise management on improvements and purchases; patch to house sACN network.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Other stage related duties as assigned.
