Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, the Mountain Companies (comprising Mountain Enterprises, Mountain Materials, and Mountain Aggregates) have been providing asphalt paving and aggregate services to Kentucky for decades. Our services include concrete construction, asphalt paving, and quarry operations. We pride ourselves on our diverse offerings to customers. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Perform electrical equipment inspections, identify conditions, and monitor performance.
  2. Report electrical equipment conditions to relevant personnel.
  3. Assist plant personnel with electrical repair and maintenance.
  4. Analyze electrical malfunctions and repair equipment such as conveyors, crushers, and screens.
  5. Examine electrical components for damage or malfunction and replace or repair as needed.
  6. Perform routine preventative electrical maintenance, including ground continuity, thermal imaging, and insulation testing.
  7. Conduct failure analysis on electrical components.
  8. Comply with safety, health, environmental, and company policies (e.g., lock-out tag-out, arc flash safety).
  9. Work in a heavy industrial environment, often exposed to weather, noise, mud, and dust. Ability to work independently and solve problems is essential.
  10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and punctuality.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands include sitting for long periods, frequent use of computers and phones, and occasional lifting of over 25 pounds.
