Job Description

The Mountain Companies, headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, have been providing asphalt paving and aggregate services to Kentucky for decades. Primary Job Functions

1. Perform electrical equipment inspections and monitor performance.
2. Report electrical equipment conditions to relevant personnel.
3. Assist with repair and maintenance of electrical components.
4. Analyze electrical malfunctions and perform repairs on conveyors, crushers, screens, and other equipment.
5. Examine electrical components for damage or malfunction and repair or replace as needed.
6. Conduct routine preventative electrical maintenance, including ground continuity, thermal imaging, and insulation testing.
7. Perform failure analysis on electrical components.
8. Comply with safety, health, environmental policies, and procedures.
9. Work in a heavy industrial environment, often exposed to weather, noise, mud, and dust; work independently and as part of a team.
10. Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends, and adhere to start times.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods, use a computer and phone frequently, and occasionally lift over 25 pounds.
