Job summary

Canyon State Electric is seeking a Leadman Electrician in Phoenix, AZ to oversee electricians on multiple projects. You will read blueprints, supervise installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and NEC compliance.

A background of 5+ years in commercial construction and leadership experience is required, with data center and high-rise experience preferred. The role demands hands-on electrical work, strong communication with trades and stakeholders, and the ability to manage schedules

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience as an electrician
• 2+ years experience as a leadman electrician preferred
• Experience working in data center and high-rise projects preferred
• Strong leadership and management skills
• OSHA certification preferred (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the work of electricians on various projects
• Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to ensure timely and budget‑compliant project completion
• Interpret blueprints and specifications
• Supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the NEC
• Perform hands‑on electrical work and troubleshoot issues
• Provide guidance and training to team members
• Manage materials and prepare reports
• Communicate with other trades and project stakeholders
