Canyon State Electric, based in Arizona, is seeking a Leadman Electrician to oversee and coordinate a crew on commercial projects. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, supervising installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in commercial construction as an electrician.
• 2+ years' experience as a leadman electrician preferred.
• Experience working in data center and high-rise projects preferred.
• OSHA certification preferred (training provided if needed).
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Daily on-site attendance required.
• Possession of own Journeyman tools and meets all Journeyman requirements.
• Thorough understanding of blueprints and NEC.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling).
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to install and make up switchgear (Cad weld) and perform control wiring.
• Advanced wire pulling techniques (e.g., Tuggers).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the work of electricians on various projects.
• Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Perform hands‑on electrical work and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide guidance and training to team members.
• Manage materials and prepare reports.
• Communicate with other trades and project stakeholders.
