Job summary

Upgrade Resources, a leading Texas electrical contractor, seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead crews on large commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects in Houston. This hands-on role involves planning, layout from drawings, and enforcing code, schedule, and budget while delivering safe, efficient work on site.

The candidate will read blueprints, coordinate with superintendents, and supervise field crews, with overtime and night shifts as required. Houston on-site work is standard.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrical license required.
• Proven track record safely completing projects on time and on budget.
• Experience leading crews on commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings with accuracy.
• Strong communication with crew, superintendents, and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew on commercial, industrial, and large multi-family electrical installations.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings, then lay out and install as specified.
• Connect wiring and equipment to code, spec, and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain safety, PPE compliance, and housekeeping across the crew.
• Track labor and material against schedule and budget; report progress.
