Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking an Electrician III to handle residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing Rumpke-owned equipment and buildings.

The role includes supervision of electrical contractors on large projects and requires strong safety and code knowledge. This position requires a valid journeyman pathway within 6 months, US work eligibility, and willingness to travel and work varied hours.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Journeyman license within 6 months of employment.
• Proficiency with National Electrical Codes and OSHA regulations.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Proficient bending and installing conduit (Rigid/EMT).
• Must ensure code compliant and safe repairs and installations.
• Ability to work at heights with safety equipment.
• Available for on-call responsibilities.
• Able to work varying hours and overnight travel.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete repairs and installations according to company priorities.
• Install new residential, commercial, and industrial service equipment.
• Perform commercial and industrial troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
• Maintain and ensure the safe operating condition of assigned equipment and tools according to company policy and OSHA.
• Supervise Electrical Contractors on large projects as assigned by Electrical Department Manager.
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
• Maintain open communication with the Electrical Department Manager.
• Follow all company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
