Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling seeks an experienced Electrician III to handle residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of equipment and buildings. You will schedule repairs, install new service equipment, and perform maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license within 6 months of employment is required.
• Proficiency with National Electrical Codes and OSHA regulations.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to use electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Capable of bending and installing Rigid and EMT conduit.
• Must be able to make code compliant and safe repairs and installations.
• Ability to work at different heights with safety equipment.
• Must be available to be on-call and to work varied hours/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete repairs and installations according to company priorities.
• Install new residential, commercial, and industrial service equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install on commercial & industrial systems.
• Complete accurate daily time sheets.
• Maintain safe operating condition of assigned equipment per policy and OSHA.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance and repair safely per regulations.
• Supervise Electrical Contractors on large projects as assigned by Electrical Department Manager.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Maintain communication with the Electrical Department Manager.
• Follow all company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
