Job summary

The Electrician III is responsible for all aspects of residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing of Rumpke owned equipment and buildings. Rumpke Waste and Recycling seeks an experienced electrician who can schedule repairs, install service equipment, and supervise contractors on large projects.

Strong knowledge of Electrical Codes and OSHA is essential; on-call and overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Journeyman license within 6 months.
• Proficiency with Electrical Codes and OSHA regulations.
• Self-motivated and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Willing to travel and stay out of town overnight.
• Able to work at various heights and use safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete repairs and installations according to company priorities.
• Install new residential, commercial, and industrial service equipment.
• Perform commercial & industrial troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
• Perform accurate daily time sheets.
• Maintain and ensure the safe operating condition of assigned equipment and tools according to company policy and OSHA.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance and repair in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Supervise Electrical Contractors on large projects as assigned by Electrical Department Manager.
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
• Maintain open communication with the Electrical Department Manager.
• Follow all company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
