Job summary

Pelican State Electric is seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Lead Electrician to join our growing team in Covington, GA. The ideal applicant will have a proven history of successfully leading commercial electrical projects and supervising a crew, with flexibility to perform residential work as needed.

You will lead and supervise electricians, read plans, plan daily work, coordinate materials, perform installations, troubleshoot, ensure safety and code compliance, and maintain tools

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience as a commercial lead electrician or electrical foreman.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations.
• Ability to independently manage a crew and maintain production.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical plans.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and jobsite safety requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable attendance and professional attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation to the designated meeting or work location.
• Résumé or verifiable work history is required.

Pelican State Electric is seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Lead Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal applicant will have a proven history of successfully leading commercial electrical projects and supervising a crew.

Although this position primarily involves commercial work, the applicant must also be willing and able to perform residential electrical work as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• $27–$34 per hour, depending on experience
• Take-home vehicle privileges may depend on the employee’s home location
• 90-day retention bonus for successfully completing the first 90 days with satisfactory performance and no unexcused absences
