Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking an Experienced Commercial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. This position requires reading blueprints, following electrical codes, and working with a team to complete projects safely.

You will participate in on-the-job training, develop knowledge of tools and safety standards, and travel to job sites as needed while maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of prior electrical experience.
• Eagerness to Learn – motivated to grow technical skills.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical concepts, tools, and components.
• Reliability and strong work ethic with minimal supervision.
• Teamwork and clear communication on the job.
• Safety awareness and physical readiness for commercial electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Electrical Work – support senior electricians with installations, wiring, conduit, devices, and setup of commercial electrical systems.
• Learn & Apply Skills – read basic electrical drawings, participate in on-the-job training, and develop knowledge of tools, codes, and safety standards.
• Perform Routine Tasks – run wire, bend conduit, install boxes/fixtures, and help with inspections, testing, and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Maintain Safety & Organization – follow OSHA and company safety procedures, use PPE properly, and keep tools and job sites clean and organized.
• Team Collaboration & Reporting – communicate with crew, take direction from lead electricians, and provide progress updates.

Job Summary:

The Experienced Commercial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings and facilities. This position requires strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, wiring methods, and electrical components, along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics and work effectively with a team.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with Electrical Work – Support senior electricians with installations, wiring, conduit, devices, and setup of commercial electrical systems.

Physical Requirements:

During a 8-10 hour workday, must be able to:

• Visually identify wiring by color
• Lift/carry up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, bend, climb, squat, and reach above shoulder for extended periods.
• Use upper extremities for grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine hand manipulations.
• Safely climb ladders up to 12 feet and work at elevated heights when required.
• Safely navigate uneven surfaces.
• Work outdoors in extreme conditions (heat, cold, etc.) and in tight or confined spaces when required.

Work Environment:

• Field-based position with regular travel to job site locations.
