Job summary

Cogent Talent Solutions seeks a Lead Electrician to run electrical work in the field from mobilization to completion, delivering code-compliant, high-quality results while guiding helpers and apprentices and keeping jobs on schedule.

You will plan day-to-day work, verify material and labor needs, and ensure quality before leaving the site, while communicating status to the office. Journeyman/Master Electrician with leadership and plan-reading skills preferred, plus a valid license.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician with strong field leadership.
• Able to read plans and identify material needs.
• Strong judgment and safety-conscious in fast-moving field conditions.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned field jobs ensuring safety, quality, and on-time progress.
• Coordinate labor, tools, and materials to meet schedule.
• Inspect work and ensure code compliance before closeout.
• Communicate updates to leadership and resolve issues early.
• Coach helpers and apprentices toward greater independence.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance on every job.
