Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking an Electrician Technician III at the Cypress Center to maintain electrical, lighting and HVAC systems across campus facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, following safety guidelines and SOPs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance teams, keeping accurate records, and supporting campus projects. A Journeyman Electrician license and a minimum of seven years' experience are required, with a Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least 7 years of experience.
• Must have valid Texas driver's license and be eligible for insurance coverage.
• Journeyman Electrician license.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, lighting, and HVAC systems.
• Maintains daily work orders/records of equipment, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Conducts weekly, monthly and annual facility inspections.
• Repairs and/or replaces electrical components in campus buildings.
• Maintains and repairs bus ducts and load distribution centers.
• Troubleshoots and services multiple voltages up to 480 volts.
