Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience working as an electrician.

  • Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or willingness to complete such program.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Pass basic skill test

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.

  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Journeyman or Master License

Leadership and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of electricians, overseeing the execution of electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Apply deep electrical knowledge to guide and support team members in solving complex electrical issues, offering technical expertise during project planning, implementation, and problem-solving.

  • Assign and prioritize tasks based on electrical requirements, project timelines, and team members’ skill sets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

  • Provide mentorship and hands-on training to junior electricians, enhancing their technical skills and promoting adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and best practices.

  • Ensure team compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and OSHA safety standards, and conduct regular safety meetings to reinforce best practices and procedures.

  • Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating project goals, safety protocols, and team expectations, while addressing any challenges or concerns promptly.

  • Lead by example in demonstrating strong leadership traits, such as accountability, problem-solving, decision-making, and a proactive approach to addressing issues or risks on-site.

  • Monitor work performance and conduct performance evaluations to help identify areas for development and improvement, supporting ongoing team growth and success.

Installations and service experiences of the following a plus:

1. System Voltages - 3 phase 480 - 277V; 3 phase 208 - 120V systems.

2. Installations and wiring of:

  • HVAC Air Handler Units

  • Cooler / Freezers

  • .5hp to 200hp motors (Single phase and three phase)

  • Motor Control Centers (MCC's)

  • Main Distribution Panels (MDP) and Panelboards

  • Transformers (Delta and Wye) wiring

  • Warehouse / Office Lighting

  • Conduit systems (Metal and PVC) (Overhead and Underground)

  • Control Systems / Energy Management Systems

  • Fuel Systems

  • Parking Lot Lighting

  • Retail Signage

  • Electric Vehicle Charging Systems

  • UPS systems (Installations only)

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's)

  • Kitchen Equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Continually required to stand.

  • Occasionally required to sit.

  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

  • Continually required to talk or hear.

  • Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather).

  • Occasionally works around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
