Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, Texas, is seeking a Lead Electrical Test Engineer for Starlink production. You will own high-volume PCB electrical test programs, including in-circuit and flying-probe, design fixtures, and lead test engineers and technicians on programs and fixtures.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 3+ years in high-volume test, and 2+ years mentoring; hands-on experience with Teradyne or equivalent testers, test fixtures, and Python/C++ for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in high-volume electrical or manufacturing test (ICT, flying probe, functional, or equivalent).
• 2+ years of mentoring engineers on a test process.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical test production program quality: ICT and flying-probe programs, fixtures, and first-article for new products.
• Design and own test fixtures and racks for multi-unit production test.
• Design and own test PCBAs: schematic, layout, bring-up, and fabrication/assembly.
