Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Electrical Test Engineer at the Starlink Bastrop facility to own high-volume PCB test programs and fixtures. You will lead test engineers and technicians, drive yield improvements, and ensure robust test coverage across in-circuit and flying-probe tests.

The role requires hands-on fixture and PCBAs design, automation scripting, and collaboration with CAM and design teams. Occasional travel to other SpaceX factories is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of high-volume electrical or manufacturing test experience.
• 2+ years mentoring engineers on a test process.

Responsibilities

• Own test production programs and fixtures for high-volume PCB testing.
• Design and own test fixtures, racks, and PCBAs.
• Debug yield issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Develop and enforce DFT guidelines with design teams.
• Write automation software to interface with testers.
• Travel to other SpaceX factories to transfer programs.
