Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an on-site Electrical Superintendent in Michigan to work with the Project Management team and ensure electrical scope complies with owner contracts. You will lead a team of superintendents, coordinate with subs, and monitor progress on a high-stakes energy project.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing material delivery, and enforcing safe practices such as LOTO and permit reviews, while maintaining schedule integrity and quality for the EPC project.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory and NEC standards.
• Experience with means and methods of electrical activities including trenching, equipment installation, terminations and testing.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to understand and execute a construction schedule and critical path.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Coordinate activities to keep electrical subcontractors on schedule.
• Produce daily progress reports and participate in meetings.
• Review drawings and ensure construction aligns with design.
• Coordinate material delivery and address delays with the team.
• Promote a safety-first culture on site with subcontractors.
• Evaluate permits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee installation, testing, LOTO, and energization procedures.
