Job summary

Gregory Electric in Columbia, SC seeks an Electrical Superintendent to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and public facilities from project plans and NEC standards.

You will lead a team of electricians, plan workloads, ensure safety, manage procurement, and coordinate with the Project Manager on changes; some travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions, procedures, labels, and gauges.
• Accurately perform basic math calculations including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects efficiently in scheduling, manpower, material supply, tool coordination, and reporting.
• Lead a team of electricians; supervise, train, and set performance examples.
• Plan pre-job activities, assign work, and drive productivity.
• Ensure safety on construction, maintenance, or repair work.
• Maintain project schedules, time sheets, and safety reports accurately.
• Install electrical distribution equipment and fixtures per NEC and job specs.
