You will read blueprints, install conduit and panels, and set up distribution and automation with PLCs and VFDs, while upholding safety and NEC standards. Strong communication and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 1–5 years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and PPE protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings accurately.
• Strong communication, time management, and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems per NEC standards and project specs.
• Install wiring, conduit, panels, lighting, devices, and prefabricated assemblies.
• Set up distribution and automation systems including switchgear, transformers, and PLC cabinets.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure precise installation and compliance.
• Terminate motor and control circuits and manage power and control systems.
• Bend conduit with hand/mechanical benders; perform trenching as needed.
• Collaborate with foremen, electricians, apprentices, and project managers to hit milestones.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant job site.
