Job summary

Black Label Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Superintendent to oversee field electrical operations on commercial and industrial projects in Fort Collins, CO. You will lead electricians and subcontractors, ensure safety, quality workmanship, and alignment with project schedules and budgets.

Strong coordination with project management, field crews, and safety protocols is essential. Responsibilities include review of blueprints, management of material flow, daily planning, and mentoring foremen.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Journeyman Electrician License required.
5+ years of electrical field supervision experience.
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA standards.
Proficient at reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
Valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

Supervise electricians, foremen, and subcontractors on job sites.
Ensure all work complies with standards, project specs, codes, and safety regulations.
Monitor and enforce safety procedures per OSHA and company guidelines.
Interpret blueprints and drawings to guide installations and resolve discrepancies.
Schedule manpower and coordinate daily work assignments to meet timelines.
Oversee material ordering, delivery, and inventory management at job sites.
Participate in job walks, pre-construction meetings, and daily planning meetings.
Interface with the Project Manager to track progress, report issues, and update timelines/budgets.
Maintain documentation related to daily logs, inspections, incidents, and change orders.
Troubleshoot field electrical and instrumentation issues in real time.
Provide training and mentorship to foremen and field crews.
