Job summary

Carlton Electric, Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations on multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Denver area.

This role focuses on manpower allocation, foreman development, planning discipline, and field execution to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals. The ideal candidate will organize teams, coach foremen, and drive consistency in planning and execution while working closely with Project Managers.

• Lead field operations across multiple commercial/industrial electrical projects.
• Coach Foremen to maintain safety, quality, and schedule.
• Develop manpower plans and allocate crews to priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations and uphold company culture and values.
• Lead field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safe and effective execution.
• Own crew mix and manpower allocation based on schedule and priorities.
• Develop and coach foremen for daily execution, planning, and reporting.
• Drive adoption of field planning systems including lookahead planning and weekly work plans.
• Monitor lookaheads, remove blockers, and adjust labor as needed.
• Review labor metrics and visit at-risk jobs to protect the portfolio.
• Escalate field constraints and execution risks to leadership.
• Promote quality and workmanship across projects and review punch/rework trends.
• Own field dashboards and leadership cadence.
