Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking a Group Lead for the Electrical Sub-Assembly Department to coordinate daily tasks, monitor manufacturing progress, and support employees to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires prior team leadership and experience with Siemens Mobility sub-assemblies, prototyping new assemblies, and using SAP/ERP to access drawings and BOM. Strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvements is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading a team.
• Prior Siemens Mobility sub-assembly experience.
• Experience prototyping new assemblies.
• You've used SAP or ERP similar software to look up drawings & BOM.

Responsibilities

• Assist defining key production work steps, sequences, and durations and set up work scope per station or per cell basis.
• Assist preparing Standardized work instructions.
• Coordinate work schedules with operational goals.
• Implement manufacturing improvements, complex process changes, and technology changes.
• Provide critical process control guidance to production, maintenance, and quality control to improve dimensional accuracy and overall quality of our products.
• Ensure all safety measures are followed.
• Escalate issues to manager or appropriate support group.
