Job summary

Tri-City Electrical Contractors Inc. is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to organize, supervise, and direct the electrical work of the assigned crew. You will control project preparation and execution to meet cost, quality, and equipment goals, and act as the liaison with the General Contractor.

The role requires a skilled electrician with leadership and a proven safety record. You will manage budgets and schedules, review drawings, coordinate with other trades, ensure NEC/code compliance,

Qualifications

• Skilled electrician with at least two (2) years of experience managing crews and running projects, and at least 10 years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, local building codes, industry standards, and job site safety requirements.
• Experience with material and labor costs.
• Excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a 12th-grade level.
• Holding a Florida Driver's license in good standing.
• High school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in establishing the Project Electrical budget, expediting change orders, changes to the project, and maintaining the construction schedule.
• Review project documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and blueprints to schedule work activities and field installations.
• Develop and manage a project schedule including three and six-week look-ahead schedules.
• Plan, organize, and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate production and attend meetings to identify and resolve conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
• Responsible for safe installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems and related materials.
• Inspect and ensure all installations meet quality and code standards.
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety, and incident reports.
