Responsibilities

• Review designs to determine applicable safety requirements and identify hazards.
• Evaluate schematics and components for compliance with safety standards.
• Develop safety test plans covering operating conditions and documentation.
• Provide input for quotations including scope and testing needs.
• Perform and oversee safety tests such as dielectric strength and leakage.
• Prepare safety reports and component lists for accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate handoffs between customers, lab staff, and certification personnel.
• Mentor engineers and improve laboratory methods.
