Job summary

GPAC, a leading local electrical contractor recruiter, seeks an Electrical Project Manager to own local commercial/industrial projects from contract through completion. This role emphasizes ownership of schedules, budgets, and relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors, with a strong focus on safety and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical construction and prior project management experience, with a solid understanding of electrical drawings and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience with project management responsibility.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to keep projects on schedule.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance.
• Attend project meetings and maintain customer relationships.
• Help resolve project issues and keep work moving forward.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
