Software Placement Group in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Electrical Power Design Engineer to support its electrical power service offerings. This role focuses on delivering code-compliant construction packages stamped by a Professional Engineer and driving accurate load studies and BOM development.

You will lead field verifications, factory acceptance tests, start-up and commissioning, and collaborate with project managers to ensure quality deliverables, budgets, and proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing electrical construction and specification packages suitable for PE stamping.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEEE 3000 Series requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; strong written/verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of electrical load studies and single line diagrams.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical power construction packages for PE stamping.
• Develop electrical power specifications and BOMs; coordinate with vendors.
• Perform field verification walkdowns and factory acceptance testing.
• Oversee start-up, commissioning, and after-hours client support as needed.
