Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Electrical Power Design Engineer in Stafford, TX (and near Alpharetta, GA) to lead load studies, develop stamped construction packages, and specify electrical power systems. The role requires at least 5+ years of experience, FE exam completion, and PE licensure preferred.

You will use AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM/EasyPower, and vendor coordination to deliver robust electrical designs, drawings, and specifications while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and FE exam completion.
• Professional Engineer license preferred or ability to licensure within 2 years.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE 3000 Series, API 500 and related electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of electrical power load studies.
• Lead the preparation of comprehensive electrical power construction packages stamped by a PE.
• Lead development of electrical power specifications for power construction packages.
• Generate bills of materials and coordinate with vendors for pricing.
• Perform field verification of Electrical and E&I infrastructure.
• Support start-up and commissioning, including troubleshooting.
• Provide after-hours support for clients and keep PMs informed of progress.
