Job summary

Arkema's Clear Lake manufacturing site in Houston seeks an experienced Lead Electrical Maintenance Technician to provide technical leadership, support plant reliability, and lead daily electrical maintenance activities.

You will mentor Electrical Technicians, coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and collaborate with operations and reliability teams to ensure safe, efficient plant performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage distribution systems and motor control equipment.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel or contractors.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install electrical equipment and systems.
• Support high-voltage distribution equipment, transformers, motors, breakers, switchgear, and protection relays.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Mentor and develop Electrical Technicians while providing contractor oversight.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability teams to support safe and efficient plant performance.
• Participate in root cause investigations, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For
