Job summary

Machinex seeks a Supervisor of Electrical Installation to support project managers and oversee daily electrical work across multiple projects. You will ensure schedule adherence, coordinate component deliveries, and provide technical guidance to electricians on site.

The role requires 2–3 years in electrical installation within industrial settings, leadership ability, and travel to client sites in the US and abroad. The position is based onsite with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in electromechanics or electrical engineering.
• 2–3 years of industrial electrical installation experience.
• Willingness to travel to Canada, United States and overseas (~75%).
• Knowledge of electrical installation standards in US/Canada/international.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation projects and ensure schedule adherence.
• Support project managers and coordinate with supervisors on planning.
• Ensure external electrical components are delivered and available for installation.
• Familiarity with tender specifications and client requirements.
• Provide internal technical support to electricians and teams.
• Lead site meetings and manage extraction requests by subcontractors.
• Assist with wiring in panels and participate in start-up tests.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
