Job summary

Ilmor Engineering Ltd in the UK is seeking a Lead Electrical Technician to head a small team, collaborating with electronics and mechanical engineering on wiring harnesses from simple adapters to full race car systems, and to assemble and test many in-house electronic devices.

You will apply DR25, perform harness testing with Cirris, and contribute to robust design and test rigs. Some travel to remote sites may be required during design and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical harness design and testing for motorsport applications.
• Ability to mentor technicians and coordinate small teams.
• Strong communication skills for reporting test results and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and prototype manufacture of wiring harnesses for motorsport applications.
• Assemble and test electronic devices in-house; ensure reliability and documentation.
• Specify, test and operate test rigs and support electrical installation activities.
