Job summary

Fire Fighter Sales and Service Co. seeks an experienced Installation Lead to manage the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm, low-voltage, and related systems. You will guide technicians, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical or low-voltage system installation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and manage on-site manpower efficiently.
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach to jobsite coordination.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks.
• Accurate and timely completion of time sheets for labor tracking and job costing.
• Reliable and punctual, with a full day’s work commitment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Bend, cut, and install electrical conduit in compliance with NEC standards.
• Pull and route wire through building structures.
• Terminate wiring at control panels and devices; perform wire nut connections.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read measurements and apply basic construction math for layout and installation.
• Ensure installations meet NEC and NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment.
• Review plans with apprentices and junior technicians for clarity and coordination.
