IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical seeks an Estimator for Richmond, VA. This full-time role supports cost estimates from $20M to $100M, writes comprehensive proposals, and leads the bid process.

Travel to projects may be required, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with company guidelines. Candidate must have 8+ years in estimating or cost control in commercial/industrial electrical construction, with strong leadership, Excel skills, and experience with Accubid.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in estimating or cost control in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Data Center and Accubid experience.
• Strong leadership ability.
• Excellent math, reading, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for electrical construction projects from $20M-$100M using plans and specs.
• Write proposals capturing scope and costs accurately.
• Lead the Proposal Review Process to ensure complete documentation.
• Serve as front-line contact in estimating efforts and developing new customers.
• Lead estimators and preconstruction team in development of estimates and proposals.
• Develop and implement estimating standards and best practices.
