Job summary

Hazen & Sawyer's Charleston, SC office is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to deliver electrical design for water and wastewater facilities, serving as lead electrical engineer when required. The role supports local and regional projects and collaborates across the firm.

Responsibilities include power distribution design, generator design, motor controls, lighting, AutoCAD/Revit work, and SKM/ETAP analyses, with site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–14 years of heavy industrial electrical engineering and design experience.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in at least one US state.

Responsibilities

• Power systems design for water and wastewater facilities.
• Lead electrical engineer on multiple projects when required.
• Perform site visits and assist in construction administration tasks.
