Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Resilience Water Team in Greensboro, NC. You will design electrical systems, manage tasks and junior staff, and report to a Senior Engineer.

Your work will cover power distribution, lighting, security, fire detection, and monitoring and control systems for water and environmental projects. You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support project delivery from design through construction.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Experience with electrical power distribution, lighting, and controls.
• Solid knowledge of NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate electrical designs for water/wastewater facilities.
• Lead project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform field inspections and QA/QC during construction.
• Perform power system analyses using ETAP or SKM.
