Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer and Office Leader to shape electrical infrastructure for advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities. You will mentor internal teams, build client partnerships, and represent the firm with stakeholders in a dynamic, growth-focused office.

In this design-build role, you will lead LV/MV power distribution, perform power studies with SKM ETAP EasyPower, develop standards, and promote AI-enabled workflows across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in semiconductors/high-tech.
• Proven leadership of internal electrical engineering design teams.
• Experience in office leadership and people management.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience with proposal development and interviews in semiconductor/high-tech industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex semiconductor projects from concept to construction.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee internal engineering teams.
• Design LV/MV power distribution systems with switchgear, substations, MCCs and distribution.
• Coordinate cross-discipline collaboration to ensure constructability and performance.
• Perform power system studies using SKM ETAP EasyPower tools.
• Lead peer reviews and enforce quality and safety standards (NEC 110, arc flash).
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the office.
