Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer for Voyager Lunar Systems. You will serve as the Technical Authority for all lunar lander electrical systems, delivering hardware and analysis products with rigor and on schedule, within budget.

You will report to the Electronic Systems Manager and join a hybrid team in Pittsburgh, tackling high-reliability space missions and leading engineering efforts across the subsystem design and verification processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years in electrical/electronic hardware for mission-critical aerospace or defense.
• Proven track record designing, testing and integrating spacecraft electrical systems (Avionics, EPS, RF Comms, Harness).
• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of technical accountability for all lunar lander electrical systems.
• Develop, document, and maintain electrical system solutions within constraints.
• Delegate technical authority to engineers and mentor small teams.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities; manage resolution plans.
• Define and defend verification and acceptance approaches.
• Support configuration control and baseline integrity.
• Review and approve supplier deliverables and milestone reviews.
• Present status and defend scope at program reviews.
