Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading architecture and engineering firm in Raleigh, NC. You will design and oversee electrical systems, collaborating with architects, engineers, PMs, and contractors to deliver projects.

The role requires 6-10 years' experience, a relevant ABET-accredited degree, and NC PE licensure (or reciprocity). You will mentor juniors and support construction and commissioning to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, architectural/electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina or ability to obtain through reciprocity within three months of start date.
• Experience in building system design including power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding, lightning protection, and emergency power systems.
• Familiarity with system modeling software such as ETAP, SKM, or AGI, and knowledge of sustainable design practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex electrical systems for diverse projects across multiple markets.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including architecture, engineering, project managers, and contractors.
• Lead project teams by delivering comprehensive engineering design packages to clients such as federal, state, and local agencies, commercial entities, and educational institutions.
• Provide engineering oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and development.
• Support construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
