Northwood Space is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the development of digital compute and power electronics for global space missions. You will lead architecture, oversee high-speed digital designs, and ensure reliable, manufacturable hardware for scalable antenna systems.

You will collaborate across hardware and software teams, bring-up FPGAs and peripherals, and guide prototypes from lab to production while meeting stringent performance and cost targets.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical design.
• Experience leading an electrical engineering team.
• Proficient in high-density/high-speed design (FPGAs, high speed data converters, SerDes, 10/100 GigE, networking, JESD204C).

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical system architecture for compute, networking, and power.
• Drive electrical design for high-speed digital systems, implementing RF and mixed-signal designs in multilayer PCBs.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize system performance.
• Test prototypes and assess performance in the lab and field; support production ramp.
