Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to work on projects for data center clients and other mission-critical customers. You’ll serve as the electrical engineering lead, perform design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare project documents while coordinating with Olsson teams and clients.

Bring 13+ years of electrical engineering experience, a Bachelor's in EE, and a PE license; Revit proficiency and CA experience are desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • California experience or familiarity with CA standards is a plus.
  • Experience with Revit software for electrical design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering on projects and coordinate with Olsson teams and clients.
  • Perform design calculations and write technical reports.
  • Prepare project documents and coordinate with data center clients and other staff.

Job Description

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will work directly with some of the world's largest technology companies and other mission-critical clients. You will serve as an electrical engineering lead on projects, design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare documents. Experience in the Data Center industry is preferred. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related
  • 13+ years of electrical engineering experience

  • CA experience
  • Ability to be a self-starter to take on a variety of tasks to best serve the client and their project work
  • Investigation and troubleshooting of problems to find solutions

The typical annual salary range for this role is as listed below. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role may be eligible for our performance-based bonus and merit increases.

National Pay Range

$130,000 - $190,000 USD
