Job summary

Global Power Components, Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive development, launch, and execution of electrical equipment solutions in an Engineer-to-Order environment. You will lead product development, application engineering, prototype work, and manufacturing support.

The role targets engineers with a strong background in MCCs, switchgear, and power distribution, with growth into technical leadership as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in an Engineer-to-Order environment.
• Experience with MCC, switchgear, power distribution equipment, industrial control systems.
• Experience with BOM development, electrical drawings and manufacturing support.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineered electrical equipment solutions based on customer requirements.
• Create electrical designs, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support quotation and application engineering activities.
• Lead prototype development and testing activities.
• Work directly with manufacturing to support fabrication, assembly, and product launch activities.
• Support product certification and compliance efforts.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners on technical matters.
• Establish engineering standards, processes, and documentation practices.
• Assist in building and scaling the engineering organization.
