Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy in the United States is seeking a Cryodynamic Product Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical expert for design, manufacture, and testing of Cryodynamic motors and generators. You will verify application of motor components and guide projects through engineering analysis and testing.

The role requires reviewing specifications, generating documentation, supporting manufacturing, and acting as the primary technical contact for suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • 5+ years experience in manufacture, testing, and service of induction motors and generators.
  • Experience with EASA, EPRI, NEMA, IEEE, and API specs.
  • Experience in vibration and electrical signature analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and read electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve motor/generator selection and specifications.
  • Generate project-specific external motor documentation and curves.
  • Provide manufacturing support to troubleshoot test challenges.
  • Disposition motor/generator manufacture and testing non-conformances.
  • Act as primary technical contact for suppliers.
  • Support project engineering with customer motor/generator queries.
  • Generate or revise engineering standard documents.
  • Diagnose field problems and develop solutions with Technical Services.
  • Develop electrical signature and vibration analysis for pumps and expanders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and special development projects.
  • Review customer specs and industry standards; use FEA or circuit models to generate curves.
