Job summary

Elliott Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical engineering aspects of Cryodynamic motors and generators, from selection to testing. You will verify motor applications, develop technical documentation, and support manufacturing and field services.

The role demands strong communication with customers and suppliers, plus proficiency in FEA or equivalent circuit methods to generate performance curves. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required.
• 5+ years in manufacture, testing, and service of induction motors and generators.
• Experience with EASA, EPRI, NEMA, IEEE, and API specs.
• Experience in vibration analysis/electrical signature analysis (PdMA, Baker-SKF, Empath).
• Ability to interpret drawings; strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve motor/generator selection, specifications, and drawings.
• Generate project-specific external motor documentation and curves.
• Provide manufacturing support for assembly and testing challenges.
• Dispostion of motor/generator non-conformances.
• Act as primary technical contact for motor suppliers.
• Support engineering team with customer queries.
