Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to deliver high-level engineering support for rotating equipment, including compressors, turbines, and cryogenic pumps. You will troubleshoot field issues, perform vibration analyses, and lead corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, customer interaction, and continuous improvement of equipment performance in demanding industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or a similar discipline.
• 4+ years’ engineering experience with rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps, etc.).
• Prior experience troubleshooting complex machinery preferred
• Working knowledge of product specifications and manufacturing principles
• Prior customer support experience preferred
• Experience troubleshooting vibration issues preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs investigations and directs projects requiring independent action and decision.
• Executes service engineering assignments applying engineering theory and standard procedures.
• Assists field engineers in resolving start-up, operation, and maintenance problems on Elliott equipment.
• Makes customer visitations to gather first-hand information and implement corrective steps.
• Operates vibration diagnostic equipment to analyze field issues and issue reports.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure prompt problem-solving for assigned product line.
• Interacts with engineering and service groups on parts orders, modifications, and studies.
• Develops and presents training programs for Elliott personnel or customers.
