Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as the lead for capital projects and reliability improvements at our Lancaster, PA manufacturing site. You will own electrical systems, partner with operations and maintenance, and drive upgrades from concept through startup to boost equipment uptime and energy efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 0–12+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on problem solving with strong project management and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0-12+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industrial environments.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering resource for plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues impacting safety, quality, reliability, and production.
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve equipment performance, uptime, and energy efficiency.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Apply engineering best practices to improve asset reliability and operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend upgrades, modifications, or modernization projects.
• Develop and manage electrical and infrastructure improvement projects from concept through startup.
• Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and expected business outcomes.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, contractor activities, and commissioning efforts.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project costs, timelines, and deliverables to achieve budget and schedule targets.
• Support major maintenance shutdowns and outage planning activities.
