Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer – AVE Integration and Test Lab Design and Integration team for a role in Roy, Utah, supporting the Sentinel program. You will design interconnect diagrams, release harnesses for lab testing, and perform voltage drop analyses across multiple teams.

Required: STEM degree with years of experience and DoD Secret clearance; CAD tools such as NX, CATIA or Capital; ability to communicate across disciplines and work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2 years of experience or Master's with 0 years.
• Principal level requires Bachelor’s with 5 years, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• 1+ year experience using CAD design tools (e.g., NX, CATIA, Capital).
• 1+ year experience with cable/harness design to military/aviation standards.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.4, AS50881.
• Ability to communicate issues and provide solutions across teams; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop interconnect diagrams for test lines, events, and hardware.
• Design and release harness/cable designs for lab testing.
• Perform voltage drop analysis.
• Support Manufacturing, Procurement, Lab Integration and Test Design.
• Implement test and measurement systems in a lab space.
