Job summary

S&S Worldwide, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide technical direction and team resource planning for controls and electrical systems on major amusement rides and roller coasters.

The role involves defining electrical scope with project managers, scheduling tasks, budgeting support, and supervising development from specifications to installation, including ECO reviews and UL508A compliance. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or controls programming
• 10+ years' experience with PLCs, motion control, sensors, actuators, and HMIs
• Ability to schedule with MS Project or similar planning tool
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Define electrical and control system scope for new projects with project managers
• Schedule team tasks to meet the master engineering schedule
• Assist with budgeting and resource planning for the electrical design team
• Oversee development of electrical systems, including specs, safety evaluation, IO lists, schematics, and installation supervision
• Review work through ECO process and maintain UL508A panel shop conformance
