Job summary

S&S Worldwide, Inc. in Utah is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide technical direction and resource planning for controls and electrical systems on major amusement rides and roller coasters.

You will lead the engineering team, define work scope with project managers, and ensure scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with safety and industry standards. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or controls programming is required.
  • 10+ years of experience with PLCs, motion control, sensors/actuators and UI implementation.
  • Ability to create and manage schedules in MS Project or equivalent.
  • Proven clear communication with engineering teams and customers.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Define electrical and control system work scope with project managers.
  • Schedule tasks and adjust priorities to meet the master engineering schedule.
  • Assist Engineering Director with budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling.
  • Develop and oversee electrical systems, schematics, wiring layouts, and installation.
  • Review and approve designs through ECO processes.
  • Maintain UL508A panel shop conformance.
